Colour Analysis at Home
A personal colour
consultation used to
cost £200
and an afternoon.
Now it takes a photo.

The consultant was never magic
It was method.
Same result. Your living room.
The method
What a consultant actually does.
And how we do it from your phone.

In a studio
You arrive at a studio with a bare face. The consultant seats you under daylight-balanced light, against a neutral drape.
On in my colors
One portrait taken by a window in morning light. Bare face, hair pulled back. The same brief a consultant would give you.
In a studio
Fabric swatches are layered beneath the chin — warm against cool, soft against bright — watching for the one that quiets the face.
On in my colors
Your photo is measured for warmth, depth, chroma, and contrast across multiple skin zones — the same signals a consultant reads by eye. Once your season is found, virtual draping lets you see exactly how each palette colour sits against your face.
In a studio
A season is named. A palette is handed across the table. You drive home with it.
On in my colors
Your season, your palette, and the reasoning behind it. Yours to keep — on your phone, in your pocket, when you're standing in a shop.

A fair question
Can an app really do this?
Yes — because the work isn't intuition. It's measurement. A trained consultant looks for how warmth, depth, and contrast settle on the skin. in my colors does the same, against thousands of reference drapes, with a camera that doesn't tire after the second client of the day.
The science is the same. A consultant applies it by eye, trained over years. in my colors applies it computationally, using the same seasonal framework professionals have used for decades. We didn't reinvent the method. We made it possible to do from wherever you are, whenever you want.

The analysis — every measurement, every comparison, every result — runs entirely within your browser. Your photo never reaches our servers. Not because we promise not to look. Because there is nowhere for it to go.

Self-conscious about how you look?
This tool asks for a bare face in natural light — the kind of portrait you wouldn't normally hand to a stranger. You don't have to. Nobody at in my colors will ever see your photo. Nobody anywhere will. It never leaves your screen.
Worried your photo will train an AI?
It can't. The analysis runs entirely within your browser — your photo is never sent to our servers, never stored, and never touches any external system. There is nothing to scrape. There is nothing to train on.
Concerned about a data breach?
There is no database holding your photo. The analysis happens on your device, in your browser — the same way a calculator works. When you close the tab, it's gone. There is nothing on our end to breach.
What we do collect
When you purchase a report, we collect your email address to deliver it — and nothing else. No photo. No biometric data. No profile. Your email address and the colour results in my colors calculated on your device. That's the entire transaction.
Sound familiar
Most people have
already tried something.
A quiz. An appointment. Another app. They came back knowing their season — and still standing in shops, picking up the wrong things.
Knowing your season is not the same as being able to use it. The gap between the two is where most colour advice stops. in my colors doesn't.
The quiz
Asked you to rate your own undertone. Gave you a season based on your answers. You walked away with a label and no way to know if it was right.
The appointment
Left you with a season, a small colour card, and the quiet question: now what? The palette was real — but the tools to use it every day weren't part of the session.
The other app
Showed you a colour wheel and called it analysis. No explanation of why. No way to check anything you already own. No practical use on a Tuesday morning in a shop.
“in my colors gives you the analysis and the tools — a colour checker so you can test anything before you buy it, and a colour matcher so your wardrobe finally makes sense.”

On the matter of price
An in-person session
costs $150–$500.
It means finding a consultant in your city, joining a waiting list, and spending an afternoon in someone else's studio. Valuable — but not the only path.
in my colors is free to start, returns your palette in under a minute, and travels with you anywhere your phone goes. No postcode lottery. No waiting list. The science is the same. The convenience isn't.

What you walk away with
Five things.
Considered, complete, and yours to keep.
Your season
The one classification that frames everything else — with the reasoning shown, so it feels certain rather than mysterious.

Your palette
A refined set of colours calibrated to your undertone, depth, and contrast. For clothes, makeup, hair direction, and everyday shopping decisions.

Draping preview
See how your palette colours sit against your own photo — the way it would in a studio mirror, across fabrics and patterns, before you commit to anything.

Colour checker & matcherNew
Upload a photo of anything — a jumper, a lipstick, a scarf — and tap the colour to see whether it belongs in your palette. Use it to go through what you already own, or check something before you buy it. The colour matcher fills your screen with your palette colours so you can hold any item up against it and judge by eye — your season, always in your pocket when you're standing in a shop.

Full style report
Metals, hair direction, makeup, what to avoid, and the colours to look for. Written the way a good stylist would write it — plainly, kindly, in full sentences.
